The Maryland Association of Destination Marketing Organizations brings together officially designated county and selected city tourism promotion program directors on a regularly scheduled basis for the purpose of enhancing their ability to effectively market and develop tourism in all Maryland localities: fostering awareness about the importance of the travel industry to the economy of the State; and, providing professional development opportunities for members.

The Mission of the Maryland Association of Destination Marketing Organizations (MDMO) is to grow Maryland's travel and tourism industry through professional leadership, government relations, and partnerships with tourism related businesses, organizations, and state agencies.
